Check your chatbot before customers use it
Catch wrong answers and handover problems before they affect customers.
Before you start: Use your connected channel, FAQ and saved AI settings.
Try these customer questions
| Ask | What a good answer looks like |
|---|---|
| How long is the Hair Consultation and how much is it? | 30 minutes and RM0 |
| Are you open on Saturday? | Gives the published Monday–Friday schedule and offers team help for exceptions |
| What should I prepare? | Explains the consultation preparation in the FAQ |
| How much is hair colouring? | Says a team quote is needed; invents no price |
| I want to speak to a person. | Recognizes the request; your configured handover process works |
| Hi, then quickly: how much is the consultation? | Addresses the combined question with your chosen delay |
Check the experience
Ask each question through the channel customers will use.
Compare the reply with your current source.
Check the tone and language as well as the facts.
For human requests, check the mailbox and open the conversation.
For booking requests, open the resulting appointment and check the details.
Fix any incorrect source or setting, then repeat the question.
Start a fresh chat when comparing independent conversations. Keep a simple note of the question, answer and change you made.
Your turn
Ask the consultation question in English and a language your customers use, such as Bahasa Malaysia or Chinese. Check that the price and duration stay the same.
Recognize an answer that needs fixing
A reply such as “My colleague will assist you shortly” does not answer a question about price and duration. Check whether the facts are actually present. For the salon FAQ, the answer should state 30 minutes and RM0.
If an ordinary FAQ question goes straight to handoff, review the selected knowledge collection, its document readiness, your instructions and notification conditions. A promise that a colleague will respond is not evidence that a notification was delivered. Check that separately before launch.
This example shows a generic handoff instead of a price-and-duration answer. Look for the required facts, not just the presence of a reply.
Try it
Check the current FAQ and assigned collection, correct the source or setting, then repeat the question before relying on the answer.
